Husson (ARG) colt ex Talaq Dancer (Black Hawk)
(06/09/2009)
We start with Talaq Dancer’s bay Colt born at Kieran and Anna Falvey’s Monarch farm on 6th September. He is a ¾ brother to multiple Group One winner weekend Hussler. His dam Weekend Beauty is a half sister to Group Winners Saturday Fever and Phantom Thief. Being such a close relation to the 7 time Group One winning Champion galloper who is being set for an autumn campaign will see him a much sought after yearling in the 2011 Yearling Sales. (21/08/2009)
Boudi Woudi is a stakes winning daughter of Yellow and Black, she herself a daughter of Western Symphony (broodmare sire of Sunline, Desert Sky, Jeune King Prawn etc) and a half sister to Doubting and Special Edition. Doubting won a Kewney Stakes and was placed in the Coolmore while Special Edition was precocious enough to win a Blue Diamond Preview. This lovely chestnut filly is Boudi Woudi’s second foal with her first, an outstanding O’Reilly colt set to feature in Patinack Farm’s inaugural Inglis Easter draft.

Husson (ARG) filly ex OOMPH (Flying Spur)
(20/08/09)
Our next foal featured is a bay filly out of multiple stakes winner Oomph. A daughter of champion sire Flying Spur, Oomph was a four-time stakes winner on the track and is already the dam of multiple winning Goldfinger, her only progeny to race so far. Oomph is herself a daughter of dual stakes winner Nobellotto who is a dual stakes winning dam having also had Noble Red win the Chester Manifold stakes and run fourth in a VRC Derby. Champion NZ 3-year-old filly Jandell is the granddam of Nobellotto.

Husson (ARG) colt ex SPURCENT (Flying Spur)
(19/08/2009)
Spurcent is another member of our illustrious broodmare band by champion sire Flying Spur. Spurcent hails from one of the most potent families in the studbook being a daughter of Centaine mare San Century and from the immediate family of Fleur De Chine, Tully Thunder, Roman Emperor etc. With pedigree and racetrack performance to match Spurcent in time could develop into one of our blue hen mares. Precocious enough to win a Gimcrack Stakes as well as running fourth in a Silver Slipper, she trained on at three to place in the One Thousand Guineas, she has as you would expect been given every chance to succeed at stud. With two Lonhro’s and a More Than Ready to run for her, who knows what this colt will be worth if he heads towards the 2011 Yearling Sales.

In the next issue we will feature a selection of Casino Prince’s first foals. We would also like to extend an invitation to any breeder who is considering using one of our stallions to call us and arrange a time to inspect our current foal crop by our foundation stallions.
